Putaway Clerk I

This person will be able to receive in all products shipped from various vendors for all of the different clients. Responsible for counting, storing, and rotating stock in the warehouse on a daily basis. When time permits, will be available to work and help out in other areas of the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process shipments from vendors for all clients
Scan product into the computer
Compares identifying information and quantities on the packing slip, count items for verification, and indicates any discrepancies
Determines methods of storage and stock location, considering height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space
Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
