With a staff of approximately 250 medical and allied health professionals, the department of Radiation Oncology offers its hospital staff the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment focused solely on delivering exceptional and uncompromising patient care.
This is a cutting edge department with the best and newest technology available including:
8 linear accelerators, full brachytherapy suite, Gamma Knife center, 2 CT simulators, dedicated MRI unit, and Proton facility.
Reporting to the Director of Radiation Oncology the Manager manages diversified duties within the Radiation Oncology Services such as radiation therapy, dosimetry, physics, and other radiation modalities.
Ensures that all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within area of responsibility meet quality and regulatory standards and the needs of the hospital's patients and medical staff.
Manages a staff of 60 including 4 Supervisors.
Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets.
Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Manages all operational activities within direct reporting line.
Assists in developing strategic initiatives.
Ensures that all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within area of responsibility meet quality and regulatory standards and the needs of the hospital's patients and medical staff.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements new services and assists in marketing efforts in conjunction with organization public relations.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a large radiation oncology department, outstanding leadership, collaborative and communication skills.
B.
S.
degree is required; RT.
(T), MHA/MBA preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
