Account Manager

Our client is a privately held chemical distributor that specializes in specialty chemicals in the CASE industry is seeking a Technical Account Manager in their MO, KS, NE and IA territory.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage all accounts in the territory.
Achieve annual territory sales and profit growth objectives.
Identify, qualify and close new business at both existing and new accounts.
Monitor and report on variances and competitive information.
Establish strong relationships within multiple levels of the account.
Monitor and report on variances and competitive information Approximately 50- 60% overnight travel.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
BS/BA in a science related field; chemistry preferred.
Minimum 5 years technical sales experience, experience in CASE industry desired.
Familiarity with accounts in the territory and/or chemical distribution experience is a plus.
Must be located in the St.
Louis or Kansas City area.
Hunter mentality - looking for proven background in developing new business.
Excellent base + uncapped commission + car + full benefit package

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
